What is the difference between the B2800B and A29B pumps at 2 HP?
Both deliver 255 L/min at 10 bar. The B2800B runs at 1250 rpm with a heavier cast-iron head, giving faster tank refill and better long-run durability. The A29B is lighter and slightly quieter.
Is it suitable for continuous use?
Duty cycle is around 60% — run 6 minutes, rest 4. For continuous operation choose a two-stage 5.5 HP+ compressor with a 200 L or larger tank.
Which oil does it need?
Use ISO VG 100 non-detergent compressor oil (SAE 30 equivalent). First oil change at 50 hours run-in, then every 500 hours or 6 months.
How noisy is the B2800B?
Around 79 dB(A) at 1 m — comparable to a domestic vacuum cleaner. Mount on rubber feet and use a short flex hose to isolate vibration.
