RED is ABAC's designation for the heavy-duty industrial revision of the B7000 pump: hardened stainless valve plate, taller cooling fins, upgraded intercooler and higher-temp bearing grease. Recommended for ambients above 35 °C.
Is the RED premium worth it over the standard B7000?
In hot workshops (Gulf summer, non-air-conditioned bays) yes — valve and ring life often doubles. In cool climates the standard B7000 performs identically at lower cost.
Is a 500 L receiver enough at 10 HP?
Yes for intermittent workshop duty. The 500 L receiver keeps pressure steady between pump cycles and fits a compact floor area. For long continuous demand a rotary screw is the better choice.
What tools can this run continuously?
