Frequently Asked Questions

B7000 twin vs NV10 twin — which do I need?

The B7000 twin runs at 1400 RPM and is slightly more compact; the NV10 twin runs at 1100 RPM and lasts longer between rebuilds. Choose B7000 for higher output per footprint, NV10 for maximum longevity in harsh conditions.

How does delayed-start work?

Pump one starts on demand and does most of the work. Pump two only starts when pressure drops below a second lower setpoint (typically 7 bar). Staggering starts avoids simultaneous motor inrush and doubles the useful life of pump two.

Can I service one pump while the other runs?

Yes. Each pump has independent isolation valves on suction and discharge, plus separate motor contactors. Shut down and lock out one side to service belts, valves or oil without stopping shop air.

When would I outgrow this and need a screw compressor?

When continuous demand exceeds 6 hours of full-output daily, or when air quality (dryness, oil content) becomes critical — paint booths, food packaging, medical, electronics. Then step to a 20–30 HP rotary screw with dryer.
